CALL TO ACTION BY THE MORAL REGENERATION MOVEMENT UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE CHAIRMAIN FR. SMANGALISO MKHATSHWA AND MS. ZANDILE MDHLADHLA (CEO)

During the month of July, all South Africans and all who dwell within her borders are encouraged to reflect on what they can do individually and collectively to make our country a better place for all. The decision to have MRM Month in July is premised on the fact that it is the month in which the Charter of Positive Values was adopted. It is also the birthday month of former President Nelson Rholihlahla Mandela who is considered the prime mover in the formation of the Moral Regeneration Movement. 

May we humbly request that as a catalyst for social change we:

• mobilise our citizens to own, live and take responsibility and accountability to be Ambassadors of Ubuntu and images and voices of hope
• encourage our citizens to have conversations and partnerships
• inspire the public to take practical action to do good

Mzansi, let’s work together to explore ways to live the values espoused in the Charter of Positive Values to sustain and consolidate our democracy, peace and prosperity for a better future for all.
